I had the perch dinner with mac and cheese with greens. Everything was to salty for my liking. I sent back the greens and ordered the sweet potatoes and they never came out. We wait for 40 minutes for our food. The perch was fried to hard I couldn't chew everything. Not impressed by anything here.

I give the company five stars because of the deliciousness of the food and the great customer service. I had 4 piece wings candy yams and mac n cheese

Older lady at the door was very rude to us from the start, but treated other guest very well. Young dark male server was very friend to everyone, and has amazing customer service skills. The mac-n-cheese was horrible, not even edible. Sweet yams, nasty can't even figure out what they did to them 🤮 The sweet pots fries were good, but sure frozen. When we were leaving I told the owner the positives, and how rude are server was. Well the lady heard me and started yelling at us as the owner held her back and called her Mom I only said, perfect example and left. Sad because I love supporting local businesses and have now told everyone I wouldnt recommend them.

Food was amazing and the Fried Whiting was perfect with seasonings. Mixed Greens and Macaroni & Cheese was truly home cooked...just like your grandmother. I would highly recommend anyone that wanted a true Southern home-cooked meal stop by and taste the true soul food.#werateyou

Good food took over hour to get meal as we patiently waited for our food.

This establishment is truly amazing. From the customer service to the food, I have no complaints. When you walk in, it’s very warming. Family Affair has a very intimate setting which is quite relaxing. If you ever go, you MUST try their peach tea!!! It’s worth every penny. The food is always hot and yummy, and the service is quick and efficient. I eat at Family Affair every time I’m in that area. 5 stars for sure!

If the price is going to be different than what is on the menu, that should be communicated at the time the order is placed, not when the bill is presented.

The ribs where really good and the peach tea is the main attraction. If you have time, get on over to family affair

Amazing food, huge portions and reasonable price! The woman behind the to go counter runs it like a well-oiled machine. Fast, efficient and friendly! We will be back often!

We Celebrated My Best Friends 60th Birthday at Family Affair's Restaurant, and the family friends and food made it a wonderful experience.

Originally came to the plaza for hot heads and the name just automatically drew my attention. When I walked inside I could tell it was exactly what the name said a family place, the 2 tone walls were very welcoming and all the pictures on the wall represent a foundation who is proud of their heritage. I had the catfish nuggets with mac & cheese & candied yams everything was really good. Customer service was at an all time high !!!!

Extremely friendly, greet you with a kind word and smile when you come in the door. They know I love pepper sauce and Texas Pete and they have it ready for when I visit. The southern style food reminds me of stick-to-your-bones, good home cooking ... very delicious and satisfying. The portions are always more than enough. Good place to meet with family and friends over a 'home cooked' style meal.

I don't even want to give this place ONE star. I've been here twice and both times the woman at the register has been beyond rude! Apparently she only has a problem with me because with everyone else, she is perfectly fine. Anytime I ask this woman a question, she gives me attitude. The food is overpriced and just OKAY. She won't have to worry about me ever coming back!

The food is amazing but the service is AWFUL! Waited 20 minutes for someone to greet our table to get drinks and the food came out wrong. They need dedicated servers and hostesses. The two servers that were on the floor were also taking care of the front of the house. To give you an idea of how long things took, a table for 3 people beginning to end where we had to flag down two different people for our check was 2 hours. So sad because this place has a lot of potential.

My family and I highly recommend this place! We've tried the chicken wings (phenomenal, big), blackened salmon (yum), smothered pork chops (tender) and short ribs (10/10) plus cabbage, mashed potatoes, macaroni, greens, yams and green beans with the home made cornbread. The Peach Tea was awesome too! Definitely going back again

Good place to eat, staff very nice and friendly

Was there a couple of weeks ago. The food was good down home cooking. The service was also good. Will be back one day. I live in Westerville so it's a long drive.

Called at 8:30 pm, asked about placing an order and was told, “we’re are closed”. The website says we’re open until 9pm. I’m thinking Owner, Jamie doesn’t know this type of communication with a customer exist especially one who help put the word to to help Family Affair get established here. Not knocking food but, customer service sucks.

The atmosphere is great. Dine on great tasting food while listening to your favorite R&B singer. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Just like home. (WV).

The food is delicious and Ms Maggie went above and beyond to help me get what I needed for my moms 100th birthday party. Great bunch of people!

The food here is amazing!!!!! I love it. Their wings are the best. the also have good mac n cheese and greens. They also have the bomb mashed potatoes and gravy.

Was there for my birthday party. Food was terrible mac and cheese looked and tasted like it was scrapped from the bottom of the pan. Had all the orders wrong tried to make some of my guest take a order that wasn't even theirs. Some of them didn't even get all of their items (side) dishes until they were done eating. Kids meal was $10.00 for a 2 year old had to ask for a booster seat. Would not recommend this place at all. Terrible service.

Super Friendly and Family oriented. I'd go as early as possible they were usually packed when I picked up my orders. My family really only liked the fried chicken and cornbread.

Tried for the first time, this weekend. Clean atmosphere. Very friendly and well mannered staff. Large variety to choose from. I had the Ribs, which were a bit too tough for my liking.. the House Mac and cheese which is a sweet style and absolutely fantastic!! I also ordered cabbage and chicken wings. The wings are soooo good! I will say the pricing is a bit high though but the meat portion's kinda make up for it.

A good meal. Taste like it's home cooked. I had the fried fish, green beans, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy. A very reasonable price for this meal. I recommend the chocolate cake, it's delicious.

Not impressed! As someone who has lived in the south this food is not all that. I would say it was at least the item I got or day I went, but after talking to others, they agreed. I went during lunch and got the catfish nugget sandwich it was very hard to get through, hard bread, not great fish, seasoning wasn't good, soggy bland fries. And they don't know their specials until they're cooked?!!? Huh??! How does that work? Staff was ok, young adults. Not positive that I'll return.

This place did not disappoint at all I'm in ohio just visiting for work (from D.C.) and I just stumbled upon this place and the customer service was great ....let's just say I'll be eating here until I go back home ....theres a lil bit of a wait but definitely worth the wait

Had intended to get their brisket but ended up having fried perch with mushroom and mixed greens. Their price was more than I would have expected, but their quality and quantity was way more than I had hoped for. The perch was breaded evenly and very crispy with out any hint of grease or oil. Mushrooms were very good and mixed greens which I think was mainly chard but may have had mustard other greens. It was super tasty with out being overcooked.Service was friendly and attentive.Now I need to go back for their brisket.

The food was ok. It could have been better. The smothered pork chops were not smothered, they tasted like they had been soaked in a brim & a little salty. The mashed potatoes were instant from the box. The potatoe salad is from GFS. Cakes are $4.95 a slice. The slices are small and cake was dry. I am not sure if I will give them another chance.

Food and Service isn't good at all

We were returning to Cleveland and decided we wanted some soul food. After reading the amazing reviews about Family Affair my partner and I decided to stop and we were so happy we did!The brisket was tender and delicious. The chicken wings were finger licking good. The ribs were falling off the bones. Not to mention the yams, greens coleslaw, and cornbread were all amazing. Everyone was so loving and welcoming not only to us but everyone who came in and called to place orders. Oh... the peach/lemonade (50/50) drink was sooo good and the yellow cake with chocolate icing. I ruin my diet but it was all worth it! LolThis is restaurant worth another 2 hour return and diet ruin! God bless y'all Family Affair!

Warm, inviting,great service and food that's cooked to perfection..seasoned just right!!! Highly recommend...

The food is always delicious. I'll admit, sometimes it takes a bit to come out, but I just contribute it to the good being made with love. Lol. Their blackened tilapia is great and the mac and cheese is sweet. It's different, but good. Mix their peach tea with lemonade if you don't want diabetes. It's so good!

A hidden gem if you like soul food. The food was really good. It. Was so hot in there. 1 big fan. Family really worked together and they were nice. Nice place!

Delicious! Good old fashioned soul food. Best red beans and rice I've found. Very friendly staff, great old Motown music playing. I'm only giving 4 stars because I walked in and ordered takeout. If you want takeout, Call about 20 minutes ahead. Other than that. Come and get it!
